Acknowledging Changes in our Lives

But what started out as an opportunity to make money has changed into a tool for growth and evolution.

I’ve always been curious about the idea of change. If I think about it, my life – and everyone’s for that matter – has been on of constant change. No matter if you are growing up, moving to different places around the world (I’ve lived in the United States for several years), I’ve been through a fair amount of changes. Even when I wasn’t changing where I was, I always have had a constant desire to evolve and grow.

I felt uncomfortable about this desire for a long time because I am constantly changing and finding new ways to make a mark on the world. Now, for example, I have a deep desire to serve and to be of service around the world. I want to be authentic and show the world who I really am.

When I began to build my brand, my idea wasn’t to grow or to serve. My reasoning for building my brand was to create multiple streams of income that would ultimately bring me the most money possible. But what started out as an opportunity to make money has changed into a tool for growth and evolution. I never imagined I would grow this much from this business venture.

As I remember what my initial purpose for my company was, I began thinking about the different types of changes that go on in all of our lives. There are changes I can force upon myself. For example, if I have a bad habit that I think I need to change (like overindulging on certain things like food), then there are changes that require subtle adjustments to our lifestyle. These changes may include taking note of what I’m eating or staying away from the junk food. My mind also tends to wander when I sit in traffic. I get distracted, and I realize I need to do something to change it.

These changes are often very subtle. When you think about it, I’m not noticing it with the intention of actually changing it. I’m just putting my awareness on it. When you put awareness on something, you are making it known to yourself that you need to stop doing something, or start doing it.

When you put awareness on something, you are making it known to yourself that you need to stop doing something, or start doing it.

The kind of change I want to talk about today is the one I mentioned about my business. Sometime, we don’t do anything about the change. In the course of our daily activities and living a purposeful life, changes will come. Like I mentioned before, my entrepreneurial ventures started out as a means to make money, but quickly transformed into something else that has led me on an amazing journey of understanding myself better and being able to speak my truth. I didn’t force this, it just happened. Like all of my entrepreneurial ventures since, it transformed me in unimaginable ways.

And it didn’t just transform my business life, it transformed my personal life as well. That’s what I wanted to talk about. Sometimes, these are changes we can actually force. However, once we start applying the change to our life and start living the change, it will take over us. That is the part that we don’t force. It typically happens very naturally as we progress to a higher and more awake version of our current self.

Today, I just want to say that someone who is on the path of growth and evolution should look at themselves and the certain areas of their life and ask themselves “how can I allow change to come into my life without forcing it or realizing it is something that I have to change? Can’t I just relax and allow the changes that are here for my evolution happen naturally?”

When all is said and done, the universe is very wise, and I truly believe that we are here to live our lives in a way that the universe can use to express itself through us. I find it comforting that I can just relax and know that, as I become more aware of certain things in my life, change will come naturally. Then life becomes such a beautiful thing.
